It’s a rapid and easy, slightly nerdy, not-to-be-taken-too-seriously stare that can be paired with literally any top you pull out from your

wardrobes – white tee, crop tee with stripes, off the shoulder trimmings or shirt.

Most of all, you can really do anything get done in a pair of dungarees; whether that’s riding a ladder, tackling the midweek supermarket shop or stepping out for a coffee date.Dungarees can be complicated, particularly if you - like the majority of all women everywhere - have a body that isn't rightly in proportion.

Long legs: slightly pear shaped, so a skinnier fit is far more pleasing than looser dungarees. Always choose dungarees with adjustable straps if you're long in the body. Ignore high waist dungarees, opting instead for a pair that sits on your hips as this will keep your body looking in proportion.

Small frame: The bagginess really works on those with a smaller frame, and the slight plunge crotch gives the illusion of a longer leg. Keep your top slim-fitting to avoid looking like your clothes are drowning you.

Small legs: The dungarees will sit higher on your waist, putting all the denim beneath in the right position. A pair of dungarees with adjustable straps, to make sure the shape is right on top, and a great roll-up on the ankle, will fit just correct.
